I began using 3-5 years ago. I wear sister locs which, started as double strand twists. I’ve had these for over 30 years and have cut it back at least 6 times so I don’t sit on them. I even used it to grow my plucked thin eyebrows and it worked. I’ve cut back on the number of times I use it since it grows back so quickly.
